About

UnBEYlievable (uBe) is a newly created organization that brings together in one expanded agency two previously established program models: The Trauma Response Team (TRT) and Street Addiction Institute Inc. (SAII). This community-based model of non-confrontational peer support to de-escalate violence is the trademark of UnBEYlievable and strives to interact within the community in a safe, productive, and compassionate manner to reduce violence, trauma, and street addiction.

Mission

The mission of UNB is to provide non-confrontational, violence de-escalation, and trauma-informed services to local agencies. UNB adheres to the philosophy of relationship building, to reduce trauma and reweave the social fabric affecting the youth and their families. Our model of non-confrontational violence de-escalation focuses on empathy building, compassion, and anger management, to support community members suffering from trauma, grief, loss, and to promote their resilience, confidence, and positive identity.


Services

  • Leading expert on Street Addiction and creating proactive models to confront and counteract street addiction behaviors.

  • Provide security trained in a non-confrontational model of de-escalation for protection of people and property at events and public gatherings where the potential for violence exists.

  • Educational services in the form of lectures, classes, seminars, and workshops in the field of human behavior modification and violence prevention.

  • Educational services in the field of gang and neighborhood violence preventions and featuring techniques for conflict resolution, addressing street addictive behaviors, and dealing.
