Street Addiction institute inc

We provide non-traditional prevention and intervention methods and approaches to address trauma, specific to neighborhood conflict and street addictive behaviors for youth and young adults ages 12-25.

Street court

We offer intervention for youth impacted by Street Addictive behaviors between ages 11-18, by addressing the underlying predictors, triggers, and risk factors for recidivism.

Trauma Response Team

Prevention Services that implement non-traditional ways to engage youth impacted by neighborhood conflict. This program participants range in age between 11-25.

Our Philosophy

We focus on relationship-building to reduce trauma and reweave the social fabric affecting the youth and their families. SAII interventions will focus on empathy-building, compassion, anger management, substance abuse, addiction, trauma, grief and loss to promote resilience, confidence and positive identity. Overall, SAII serves children and families in Onondaga county through trauma-informed care, rehabilitation and education.

Our staff is dedicated to addressing the causes and consequences of neighborhood violence specific to unaddressed trauma in Syracuse, New York. We are here to serve our community.
